A poker tournament series is a collection of poker tournaments that are organized and held over a specific period. These series can vary in prize, duration, and the types of tournaments. National Poker Series India is hosted on PokerBaazi every year.

It is India’s first National Series focusing on medals and offering the biggest prize pool. In the past 3 years it has welcomed more than 305k entries and distributed 770+ medals across more than 250 tournaments.

NPS is hosted on PokerBaazi. All T&C applied to PokerBaazi are applicable on NPS India as well.

To register for NPS India-

1. From your PokerBaazi app, go to the Tournaments section and visit the tab that says ‘NPS’.
2. Explore the tournament schedule and buy-in for the ones in which you want to participate.
3. The registrations are open now. You can register anytime and come back on the day of the tournament(s).

NPS India 2024 will be offering a 50 CR+ prize pool. Finish in the prize position in individual tournaments and win from the prize pool.

(Prize position is when a player has made it to the position in a tournament after which they are guaranteed a prize)

• Podium Leaderboard: Top 3 positions given to players based on the number of medals won.
• Series Leaderboard: Top positions given to players based on the no. of points generated in the entire series.

Winnings will be transferred to individual tournament winners in their PokerBaazi wallet as soon as you win a prize in a tournament. These winnings can be instantly withdrawn to their bank accounts.

There are multiple factors that affect a player’s performance in poker. These include strategy, patience, game analysis and more. Here are some tips to get you started:

• Start small: Participate in tournaments with lower buy-ins.
• Understand strategy: Don’t just play the game, play the opponent too.
• Play selective hands: Bluffing is acceptable but over-bluffing is not.
• Learn from experience: Study every hand you play and simultaneously, embrace variance.
• Manage your bankroll and time: Watch your investments, don’t forget to take breaks and have fun!
